I just received this text from my brother who is trapped in the Brisbane floods.
The cars are both packed and ready to go but we are still here. Pine river had its high tide at 2.37pm and it was far less than expected. Next high tide is at 3.42am so if we can make it through the next couple of days we’ll be fine. Thank God that the rain has stopped, that has saved us at this point.
Thank you my blogging friends for your thoughts, prayers and positive energy. We made a difference – I knew we would. Let’s keep it up and watch the miracle unfold some more.
