I’ve been absent from the computer since the beginning of the year because Duckfish and I have been swimming and tanning ourselves on a secret private beach on the Northern Beaches.
We are both deliciously brown, very relaxed and enjoying the best time of the year in Sydney.
Our New Year’s Eve was quiet. Just the two of us at home playing cards. Oh … and at 9pm and midnight we dragged ourselves to the bottom of the garden to witness the harbour fireworks.
We’re blessed beyond belief!!
Tell me …
How has your New Year been so far?
Do you know where the title to this blog comes from?
caught in a landslide
no escape from reality
Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, of course 🙂
Sounds like the perfect holiday for you and Duckfish.
xx Magda
Well done Magda ~ correct!
Sounds like a perfect NY to me; ours was even quieter-in bed by 9! we have never done NY’s …so it’s not an age thing, just an us thing..LOL
The year has been fab so far; no slowing this chicky down! hehehe
happy 2012 to you!
Magda already made the right guess…my guess was wrong anyway…lol
xoxo
Happy 2012 to you too 😀
Oh how i miss Sydney…..!!!!! it’s such a magical city, i taped the fireworks and watched them the minute i woke up on new years day and cried and cried and cried tears of happiness…….just about tearing up thinking about it!!! hahaha
My new year thus far has been unusual – first time ever that i’m not working, but am working on prepping to become a mum – scary and exciting all in one.
Happy new year gorgeous xx
You’ll be a brilliant mum ~ can’t wait to hear all about the new bubba. 2012 will be a wonderful year of firsts for you.
Nothing like NYE in Sideny Fern…. green eyed monster @ Katie! Bohemian Rhapsody was my immediate guess as well. I had a great Christmas and New Year. Best for quite some time. Spent with friends both celebrations very low key (well except when the BBQ set on fire with the turkey inside!!). Christmas day in and out of the pool, dodging a cyclone, NYE at mine with a few great mates. Only thing is I miss my sister and would love her to have been here…
Sounds like you had a blast Erika! We thought about you and the cyclone while we were in NZ and are so glad you stayed safe x
