April is my least favourite month – the month where there are more bad things to remember than good ones. I should have known undertaking a month-long blogging challenge would be tempting the gods.
On the night of 20th April, New South Wales experienced rain and wind gusts as severe as any cyclone. We were without power for four days and we still don’t have the phone or internet back.
Needless to say, keeping up with the A to Z Challenge has been tough.
It’s the last day of the month, and I have three letters to go. I’m grouping them all together and making this my final installment.
I’m cheating of course, because I’m not using the letters. And fundamentally, I’m not saying anything at all.
Except for thank fuck it’s over – a daily posting schedule is difficult and time-consuming. Even before the technical meltdown, I was struggling to keep up.
Now that it’s finished, I can slink back into oblivion for a while, at least until I get back on the internet.
Thanks for playing, thanks for reading, and thanks for commenting.
It’s time for a cigarette and a chicken. (I’m finishing the way I began.)
#atozchallenge – over and out.
This post is part of the April A to Z Challenge.
