Dreams

I have dreamt in my life, dreams that have stayed with me ever after, and changed my ideas; they have gone through and through me, like wine through water, and altered the colour of my mind.

  1. Katie, there’s something really raw and transparent about this photo that made me cry. Maybe knowing what you’ve gone through, or maybe my delicate emotional state at the moment. The eyes are the window to the soul. Thank you for sharing.

  2. Pretty deep quote, that one. But is it the dreams which alter the colour of the mind, or what seeps out from the cracks in the places where they get broken, which makes the most profound alterations? I’m rather inclined to think it’s the latter.

  3. This one also made me sad because for some reason you look so alone and vulnerable even though I know you to be strong. So is it “a picture says a 1,000 words” are is it “looks can be deceiving”. I’m not sure.
