Wednesday : drive to Lake Taupo | checked in Sacred Waters

Thursday : Huka Falls |  Craters of the MoonOrakei Korako + hot tub action

Friday : kayaking to the Maori carvings + hot tub action

Saturday : breakfast at 2,020 metres on Mt Ruapehu + highest kiss ever | arrive Wanganui

Sunday : roast chicken and baked kumara | white wine with Phillipa and Maureen

Monday : red wine with Amanda | whitebait fritters

Tuesday : drive to Wellington | fly home

I remember Orakei Korako, definite hot tub but no action just the girls on a Contiki trip. Still have the photos. Did see an avalanche on Mt Cook and I’m sure it was from there. Walked past that mountain swearing big time as my shoes were sh1t. Lesson don’t buy hiking boots in Darwin! Glad you are having a wonderful time. Exx

No earthquakes this time sadly. I’m already versed in the “get under your desk” method as experienced as a child at school in NZ.

Seriously though, not good news for you guys. Please stay safe and I hope Mother Nature turns her attention somewhere else in 2012 ♥
